Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Work setting: Commercial and Residential
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
• The candidates should be able to mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel
• The candidates should be able to set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
• The candidates should be able to align and straighten tiles
• The candidates should be able to cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
• The candidates should be able to pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
• The candidates should be able to remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
• The candidates should be able to lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
• The candidates should be able to build under beds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
• The candidates should be able to cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
• The candidates should be able to install tile strips
