Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and computerized inventory record-keeping systems
• The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise and assist in its display
• The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce and estimate or quote prices, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates
• The candidates should be able to greet customers, discuss the type and quality of merchandise, and maintain sales records for inventory control
• The candidates should be able to prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, as well as prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts
• The candidates should be able to accept payment in various forms, including cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit
