Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling heavy loads, and willing to work overtime when required

• • The candidates should be physically capable of demanding tasks, able to perform repetitive tasks, and stand for extended periods

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate client focus, efficiency in interpersonal skills, reliability, and be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and place dishes in the storage area
• The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and keep records of the quantities of food used
• The candidates should be able to package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars, take customers’ orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and handle and store cleaning products
• The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
