Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.

Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, Loader, Planting equipment, Sprayer or duster, Tractor

Location: 45108 RR 153 Strome, AB T0B 4H0
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, Rural area
Work site environment: Oilseed (except soybean) farming, Other grain farming, Other miscellaneous crop farming, Wet/damp, Noisy, Odours, Dusty

 

Physical Requirements:

• • The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.

• The candidate should be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
• The candidate should be physically demanding and required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
• The candidate should be willing to work in bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking position for extended periods of time.

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be efficient and a good team player.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, stone and/or wood picking, weeding, fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate should operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
