The Inside Sales Representative is in direct contact with customers and all salespeople. He is responsible for responding to customers, preparing quotes and taking orders by phone, fax or email.

What you will do

  • To inform customers and promote our products according to their needs by providing them with the necessary technical information on plumbing products
  • Respond to customers, take telephone orders and enter orders into the computer system;
  • Prepare bids and calls for tender;
  • Align with the pricing structure and/or promotions in effect and work in collaboration with the external sales team;
  • Build and maintain good business relationships with customers;
  • Achieve the targets and objectives determined by Management;
  • Maintain and expand your customer network;
  • Work in concert with other branch members and external representatives to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Other related tasks as required;
     

What you will bring

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a related field;
  • Comfortable with computer software including the Office suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.);
  • DEP in plumbing/heating or DEC in building mechanics (an asset);
  • Good knowledge of plumbing products;
  • Demonstrate initiative, autonomy, dynamism and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to negotiate with customers and deal with bid closing deadlines;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Bilingualism (an asset) to communicate with internal partners across Canada
