Kennel attendant Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should possess strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in their work and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary for the job and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should exhibit dependability and reliability in fulfilling their duties and commitments, as well as possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues and clients
• The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities and also display excellent written communication skills
• The candidates should be flexible in adapting to changing situations and requirements and exercise good judgment in decision-making
• The candidates should be reliable in performing their tasks accurately and efficiently and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare food and feed animals and clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures
• The candidates should be able to keep records of animals treated and assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, as well as perform nail clipping for animals
• The candidates should be able to monitor and document animal behavior and perform receptionist duties
