Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Type of materials: Colours and sealers, hardners and epoxies, light weight concrete and reinforcing membrane and protective covering
Location: 50523 Hwy 21, Genesee, AB, T0B 3M1
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours and Morning
Work setting: Rural area, urban area, commercial, industrial, institutional, residential and various locations
Work site environment: Candidates should work in dusty, cold/refrigerated, hot, noisy and outdoors
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have safety equipment/gear and steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record should checked and drug test required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player and also have accuracy
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification and also work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
- The candidate should be able to check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, operate power vibrators to compact concrete and also repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- The candidate should be able to impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools and also apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces

- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
