Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 
Policy and program experience: Behavior disorders
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and reference required

Shifts: 08:30 to 13:30
Transportation information: Driver’s abstract
Work setting: Rural area
Target audience: Persons with a disability, persons with an intellectual disability, persons with mental health disabilities, persons with physical disabilities, and young adults

 

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smokers

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should consistently demonstrate punctuality in their attendance and be dependable in fulfilling their duties

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to administer medications and care for pets
• The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and regular exercise, such as walking
• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household, including feeding, laundering, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
• The candidates should be able to assist clients in water activities, such as swimming, and provide companionship
• The candidates should be able to plan therapeutic diets and menus, shop for food and household supplies, and provide personal care
