Requirements:

 

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Hair styling techniques: Blow drying, Hair braiding, Iron waving/curling, Extensions, Twisting, Locking, and Relaxing
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity
• The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail
• The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should prioritize client focus and demonstrate dependability
• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral communication
• The candidates should show flexibility and exercise good judgment
• The candidates should prove reliability and function effectively as team players
• The candidates should prioritize punctuality

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to book appointments and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• The candidates should be able to cut and trim hair, shampoo customers’ hair, and shave and trim beards and mustaches
• The candidates should be able to provide various hair treatments, analyze hair and scalp conditions, and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments
• The candidates should be able to apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses, as well as hair extensions and style wigs and hairpieces
• The candidates should be able to cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair according to client preferences or physical features
