Requirements:

 

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.

Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Valid driver’s license, Travel expenses paid by the employer
Workplace information: On-the-road job
On the road job: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Physical Requirements:

• The candidate should be able to do repetitive tasks

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be able to perform preventive maintenance; Load and unload goods
• The candidate should be able to receive and relay information to the central dispatch
• The candidate should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• The candidate should be able to tarping and ensure the safety and security of cargo
• The candidate should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• The candidate should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• The candidate should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
• The candidate should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
