The Administrative Assistant works closely with and provides major support to the Site Manager of the Canmore General Hospital. This position provides senior administrative support and is the first contact for many requests or issues that may arise at the site. The candidate will support effective and efficient operations administratively and clinically. The candidate is self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a high degree of organizational skill. The candidate is required to provide a high standard of interpersonal communication and must demonstrate confidentiality, flexibility and initiative. The candidate will have a proven ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have effective time management skills. The candidate is willing to learn, take on additional responsibilities and be committed to adapting to a changing healthcare environment. The administrative assistant will also provide support for the Clinical Nurse Educator as needed.

Additional Required Qualifications:Course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Recent experience with ordering equipment and supplies through ORACLE and Grand and Toy. Experience using RMS and supporting recruiting activities. Experience booking telehealth and rooms and working in a high volume, fast-paced environment, handling multiple competing priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams. Advanced knowledge and experience with Connect Care.
