The Administrative Assistant works closely with and provides major support to the Site Manager of the Canmore General Hospital. This position provides senior administrative support and is the first contact for many requests or issues that may arise at the site. The candidate will support effective and efficient operations administratively and clinically. The candidate is self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a high degree of organizational skill. The candidate is required to provide a high standard of interpersonal communication and must demonstrate confidentiality, flexibility and initiative. The candidate will have a proven ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have effective time management skills. The candidate is willing to learn, take on additional responsibilities and be committed to adapting to a changing healthcare environment. The administrative assistant will also provide support for the Clinical Nurse Educator as needed.
