Bus driver Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Buses
Credentials: Certified Professional Bus Operator, and Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or B or C)
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)

 

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required and be comfortable sitting for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure and handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a client focus and possess excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and responsibilities and exercise good judgment in decision-making
• The candidates should be organized in their work methods, reliable in fulfilling their duties and commitments, and effective team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers, report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents, and deal with the public
• The candidates should be able to load and unload vehicles, complete logbooks and reports, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
