Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Grinding, mixing, blending, and freezing
Equipment and machinery experience: Single function machine
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and be capable of handling heavy loads
• The candidates should be ready for physically demanding work, demonstrating manual dexterity and possessing attention to detail
• The candidates should exhibit effective hand-eye coordination and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, in an accustomed fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach and be team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products
• The candidates should be able to record production information
• The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
• The candidates should be able to inform the supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
• The candidates should be able to make adjustments to process variables
• The candidates should be able to set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
• The candidates should be able to check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards
• The candidates should be able to operate machines that blend, flavor, condition, dry, flatten, strip, or cut raw tobacco leaves
