Delivery truck driver Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone, and Gloves
Credentials: Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver’s License (Class 3 or D)
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Bondable, Driving record check (abstract), and Drug test

Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Local, and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Rural area and Urban area

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be physically capable of meeting demanding job requirements, comfortable with handling heavy loads, and have experience in weight handling, up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

• The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and tasks, demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, and be organized in managing tasks and schedules
• The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities, be team players capable of collaborating effectively with others, and strive for accuracy in their work

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to exhibit professionalism in customer service and provide customer service, including loading and unloading goods
• The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
