The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities and requirements:

Customer Satisfaction:  Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.

  • Greets customers as they enter the area and thanks customers as they leave.
  • Gives assistance and offers suggestions or recommendations to the customer.
  • Rings up all sales on cash register properly and accurately, handling money, checks, and other types of payment received for product sold.
  • Performs multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions, etc.  
  • Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.

 

Facility Condition:  Maintains the store facility’s condition and equipment to Company and/or brand standards by cleaning and performing a variety of general housekeeping duties:

  • Performs multi-function and cleaning duties necessary to maintain store cleanliness inside and out; basic upkeep and cleaning of all equipment in stores.
  • Inspects store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order.
  • Notifies Store Manager of any equipment failure or maintenance/supply needs.

 

Merchandising:  Completes build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise. Receives and verifies vendor deliveries.

  • Maintains adequate stock throughout the store and supplies in counter areas; rotates stock properly.
  • Places advertising and pricing signage inside or outside the facility including marquees, ceilings, walls and windows.

 

Sales Controls:  Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses. 

  • Assists in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.

 

Financial Controls:  Keeps accurate cash, sales and inventory control records and accounts for variances.

  • Notifies the Store Manager of any sales, cash or inventory discrepancy. 
  • Follows Company and/or brand guidelines for product breakage or spoilage.

 

Security Controls:  Reports all incidents including but not limited to employee or customer injuries, theft, property damage or improper sanitation or waste disposal to the Store Manager.   

  • Reports any situation in which unsafe, unlawful or unethical conduct is or might be occurring.

 

Administrative:  Keeps an accurate record of all shift and timekeeping paperwork. 

  • May take inventory of supplies and equipment. 
  • Attends job-related meetings (may be required to work irregular hours). 
  • Provides regular and predicable onsite attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment that may include cash registers or scanners; hot or cold or beverage dispensers, and other machines or tools.
  • Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.
  • Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.
  • Ability to work in the conditions described below.

Working under limited supervision when supporting assigned service calls, utilizes intermediate skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems equipment and grounds within a geographical area/route potentially across multiple sites. Monitors building system operations and performance. What You’ll Do:
  • Complies with all applicable municipal, provincial and federal codes and regulations and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Completes corrective maintenance and repairs, records service reports as required.
  • Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks. Utilizes CMMS to manage work orders, create notes, and the work order track completion.
  • Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including: plumbing systems, kitchen and food equipment, roofs, drains, and HVAC/R.
  • Inspects building systems including Fire, Life Safety Systems, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. Troubleshoots and reports on failures and other major issues for specialized repairs.
  • As requested, inspects the work performed by outside contractors.
  • Supports an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
  • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
  • Performs carpentry, painting and furniture assembly tasks as needed.
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Report and communicate daily all work activity via Smartphone.

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer with a Power Engineer ticket to maintain the operation, maintenance, and repair of our building systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing building infrastructure and possess a Power Engineer ticket to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
 
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. 
 
What You’ll Do:
• Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned. 
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Maintain an energy management program. Ensure all systems operate in the most efficient manner.
• Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account, acting as a PepsiCo ambassador.

Qualifications
