Event Staff Full-time Job

Must have an open availability between MAY 1 and OCTOBER1, 2024, more specifically between 3pm and Midnight.

We are seeking EVENT STAFF positions for a special event for the Edmonton area 

The posting will remain open until filled.

Primary Event Staff Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Observes and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel.
• Must be able to work where liquor is being sold and be able to be certified with AGLC for Liquor legislation and enforcement.
• Must be able to work in all-weather as most events are outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to remain vigilant, aware of their surroundings and remain alert.
• Must be able to communicate effective in English both Verbally and in Writing
• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process including Verifying Government ID
• Satisfy client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.
• Use of communication systems such as handheld radios to report and inform.

Requirements:

• Must have an open availability between May 1 and October 1, 2024, more specifically between 3pm and Midnight.
• Must have or be able to complete AGLC certification of Protect and Proserve
• Must be able to work in all-weather as most events are outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the site or be able to utilize public transportation.
