Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, tractor, lift truck, planting equipment, and hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Location: Princeton, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Rural area

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and in hot conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp conditions and in dusty environments
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments while maintaining productivity and focus
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines while working under pressure
• The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks and heavy loads, demonstrating physical capability for demanding tasks
• The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination, the ability to distinguish between colors, and attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
• The candidates should have sound discrimination skills and be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required, and comfortable with sitting and capable of walking for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be team players
• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and exhibit good judgment in their roles
• The candidates should be organized to effectively manage tasks and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to perform clipping, grading, and suckering as required
• The candidates should be able to clean greenhouses, hoe crops, and pick stones and/or wood
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, irrigate crops, and harvest them efficiently
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment effectively
• The candidates should be able to detect diseases and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
• The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare it for the market with precision
