Forklift operator Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

Location: Woodbridge, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Warehouse

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with performing repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, meet tight deadlines, and be capable of handling physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should have good manual dexterity, demonstrate attention to detail, and have good hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required, manage a large workload, and have the ability to distinguish between colors
• The candidates should be comfortable with sitting for extended periods and be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be comfortable with standing for extended periods

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products, and ship orders
• The candidates should be able to pick orders and stock, weigh materials and goods, and make labels and attach them to goods
• The candidates should be able to wrap goods, pack and unpack goods, and sort, crate, and stack goods
• The candidates should be able to install, lash, and secure goods, store cargo and materials, and transport and distribute materials and goods
• The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, and organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems
