Health care aide Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be proficient in handling repetitive tasks and possess a high level of attention to detail
• The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods and comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be dedicated to client focus and exhibit dependability in their responsibilities
• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication skills, demonstrating flexibility in adapting to changing situations
• The candidates should exercise good judgment in their decision-making, be highly organized, exhibit reliability in their work, and be effective team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to supply and empty bed pans, take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and serve meal trays, feeding patients
• The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments, and make beds, maintaining patients’ rooms
• The candidates should be able to supervise patients’ exercise routines, bathe, dress, and groom patients, and assist with the set-up and maintenance of traction equipment, cleaning or sterilizing equipment, maintaining and repairing equipment, and assembling, setting-up, and operating job-related equipment
• The candidates should be able to transport patients between care facilities, answer call signals, and prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
• The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outside recreational activities, perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, and administer first aid in emergency situations
