Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset 
Own tools/equipment: Tools
Credentials: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Tire, wheel and rim mechanic, Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification, Automotive Service Technician (Transmission) Trade Certification, Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification, Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification, and Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, and Driving record check (abstract)

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in their work

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should exhibit dependability in their work and be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions and diagnose faults and malfunctions, confirming findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit
• The candidates should be able to inspect motors in operation, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components, adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems as necessary
• The candidates should be able to test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications, perform scheduled maintenance service, and complete reports to record problems and work performed
