Labourer chemical processing Full-time Job

Requirements:

 

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Location: 15 Williams Avenue, Dartmouth NS, B3B 1X3
Shifts: Evening, Weekend
Transportation information: Own vehicle

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be physically demanding, and repetitive taskers
• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy areas, hot areas, and dusty areas

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be accurate
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to feed and unload production machinery and equipment
• The candidates should be able to clean chemical processing machines and equipment and production areas
• The candidates should be able to move, sort, and pile materials and products
• The candidates should be able to perform general laboring duties
• The candidates should be able to clean and maintain workspace
• The candidates should be able to record production information
