Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, fertilizer applicator, fruit harvester, loader, sprayer or duster, tillage equipment, and tractor

Type of crops: Blueberries, cucumbers, garlic, raspberries, strawberries, and sweet corn

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be experienced in fruit and vegetable combination farming, managing diverse crops in an outdoor setting
• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, adapting to various weather conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in wet or damp environments, implementing necessary precautions for safety and efficiency

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to engage in brush collecting and participate in cleaning crop activities
• The candidates should be able to perform clipping and engage in fruit tree training
• The candidates should be able to conduct grading of crops and perform hand harvesting of vegetables
• The candidates should be able to engage in hoeing crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
• The candidates should be able to participate in shoot positioning and tie plants as needed
• The candidates should be able to conduct vegetable culling, engage in weeding, and harvest crops
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
