Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Work setting: Various locations
Type of crops: Blueberries, garlic, raspberries, and strawberries

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable with fruit and vegetable combination farming and prepared to work outdoors
• The candidates should be able to tolerate wet or damp conditions, handle odors associated with farming activities, and work in dusty environments
• The candidates should be able to work in hot conditions and in noisy environments
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be comfortable sitting for extended periods
• The candidates should be capable of walking as required for the job

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to perform brush collecting, clean crops, clip, train fruit trees, and grade
• The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables, hoe crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, perform shoot positioning, and tie
• The candidates should be able to cull vegetables, weed, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
