Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

 

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smoking, adhering to workplace policies regarding smoking, and be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday
• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, maintaining focus and accuracy during repetitive job duties

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should prioritize punctuality, consistently arriving on time for work and meetings, and demonstrate a strong client focus, ensuring that client needs and expectations are met with professionalism and attentiveness

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to administer medications, assist clients in water (i.e., pool), and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder, and feed or assist in feeding
• The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and provide companionship
• The candidates should be able to provide personal care and prepare and serve nutritious meals
