Requirements:

 

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as high school, a bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, training will be provided
Type of Crops: Potatoes
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Farm truck, Lift truck, Planting Equipment, Tillage equipment, Tractor, Vegetable harvester
Automated Systems Experience: Automated irrigation system

Physical Requirements:

• The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work with tight deadlines
• The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks and pay attention to detail
• The candidate should be able to work with hand-eye coordination and have the ability to distinguish between colors
• The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods and work for overtime hours

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should have an efficient interpersonal skills and work in a flexible environment
• The candidate should have judgment skills and work in an organized way
• The candidate should be a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be able to perform tasks such as Grading, Seed cutting, Stone and/or wood picking and Vegetable culling
• The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops also operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
