Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Art or fashion design experience: Jewellery, Women’s clothing, Children’s clothing, Men’s clothing

Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Shift, Morning
Work setting: In shop, Remote location, Clothing store, Retail business, Hobby/crafts/novelty store
Type of product: Art or graphic arts

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their work
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

• The candidates should demonstrate efficiency in completing tasks and be energetic in their approach to work
• The candidates should be goal-oriented, striving to achieve objectives, hardworking, and dedicated to their responsibilities

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate the cash register efficiently and proficiently handle computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems
• The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise to customers, assist in the effective display of merchandise, and greet customers warmly, discussing the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought
• The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control meticulously, prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease accurately, and sell merchandise to customers professionally
• The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory efficiently, ensuring products are readily available for customers
