Welder Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Structural construction
Type of materials: Aluminum alloys, and Steel, iron, and heavy metals
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Safety glasses/goggles

 

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
• The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently and able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to stand for extended periods
• The candidates should have experience in weight handling, up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should prioritize client focus and exhibit flexibility in their work approach
• The candidates should be organized and team players, prioritizing punctuality and demonstrating a hardworking attitude

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes, examine welds to ensure they meet standards, and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• The candidates should be able to operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) (AOC), and determine the weldability of materials
