Description of the function
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the electromechanic carries out repairs as well as preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in order to ensure its proper functioning and avoid unplanned shutdowns.

To do-list
- Carry out immediate repairs in the event of a breakdown or breakdown of equipment;
- Carry out the work required by the preventive and corrective maintenance orders on the various equipment used by the company while respecting the established preventive maintenance schedule;
- Complete the required forms and documents associated with the work carried out
- Manage inventory and keep it up to date for equipment under your responsibility
- Carry out mechanical work as needed in the factory (equipment, services or building) according to the workload of your department;
- Ensure that his actions in his role support the manufacturing of products with the quality and food safety criteria defined by the company;
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of the SQF food safety code and report any food safety problems to personnel authorized to intervene;

Training-Skills and experience required
- DEP or DEC in industrial mechanics or electromechanics or maintenance;
- Possess a C License when the position requires it, otherwise the C License would be an asset;
- Knowledge of the MS office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Experience in the food industry, in processes and production lines;
- 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Good mechanical knowledge and ability to perform manual tasks
- Ability to perform physical efforts and good knowledge of moving heavy equipment
- Ability to do plumbing work (for example: making threads on a pipe, etc.)
- Diagnostic skills and knowledge of equipment using pneumatics, hydraulics and hydrodynamics
- Knowledge and skills for TIG welding to perform sanitary welds
- Ability to work in a team (team spirit)
- Ability to have an efficient organization and a well-structured working method
- Ability to determine the degree of importance of priorities;
- Thoroughness, Interpersonal skills, Diligence, Sense of initiative, Communicator;
- A developed sense of autonomy, ability to manage one's own time;
- Enjoy challenges, attention to detail and able to work under pressure;
- French (oral and written).
