We have an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent people skills to work as a Customer Service Representative at our CAT Rental Store. In this role, you will be responsible for efficient and effective customer service at the rental counter. This position performs sales transactions, and purchasing, assists in servicing equipment and performs a variety of administrative functions.

 

 

Job Description:

  • Provides efficient and effective customer service at the rental counter ensuring company standards are met.
  • Interfacing with the customers by telephone or inin personn a prompt, courteous, business-like manner.
  • Performs inside sales of all products and services, including rentals that the company offers.
  • Draw up rental and sales contracts.
  • Processes equipment returns and closes rental contracts.
  • Performs other equipment inquiries through the company’s computerized programming.
  • Uses and maintains knowledge of the purchase order system.
  • Assists in servicing equipment as required.
  • Keeps paperwork current to ensure prompt action on all transactions.

 

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of direct sales or customer service experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Previous experience with construction phases, job situations, and project conditions for the timing of approaching customer and rental product applications would be an asset.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work under extreme pressure, deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to work shift hours.

The Role:

As a Customer Service Specialist (Merchandiser), you will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to develop and sustain a growing snack food business and stretch your current skills by daily merchandising and replenishment of our products to a set group of grocery stores. You will learn to write orders for mainline and perimeter racks, execute planograms, pricing and point of sale material. You will be provided with a robust onboarding/training program to set you up for success!

Responsibilities

What you’ll be working on:

  • Merchandizing of our entire line-up to various retail partners
  • Executing merchandising programs at store level
  • Direct communication with our retail partners (store managers/site owners)
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Rotating all beverage products
  • Writing orders for mainline and perimeter racks
  • Maintaining planograms, pricing and POS

Qualifications

Who’s a good fit for the team:
  • High School diploma required, University/College is an asset
  • A Valid full G or Class 5 driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Interest in working on your own with minimal supervision
  • A competitive mindset and the drive to be the best
  • Strong Communication, organizational skills and possess a high energy level
  • Retail and/or food service experience would be an asset
