As one would expect, cash handling, fuel transactions, cleaning, and stocking are part of the role with some foodservice positions specifically tasked with food prep and foodservice safety. The part-time sales merchandiser contributes to the success of Frito Lay Canada by providing exceptional customer service to various large and small accounts, such as supermarkets and variety stores. This includes merchandising products, freshness rotation, display set up and maintenance, storage room organization and movement of product from storage to the sales floor.

Responsibilities
- Merchandise store shelving, racks and displays with PepsiCo products
- Utilize Point-of-Sale materials
- Keep back-room stock in neat and orderly condition, ensure shelving cleanliness is maintained
- Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable vehicle
- Merchandising or retail customer service experience is helpful, but not necessary
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching over shoulder
- Able to lift 50 plus poundsand push or pull up to 200 pounds using a powered pallet jack

They play a crucial role in keeping beverage sections, end caps, racks, and displays brimming with refreshing options. The Details
This is a part-time position remotely out of Prince Rupert, BC that will start asap.
Wage: $18.07/hr + $0.55/km
Schedule: Weekend availability is needed.
Hours: 16-24 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
- Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.
- Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
- Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head
- Manage backroom by organizing stock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.); completing any required paperwork
- Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Qualifications
- Must have access to a personal vehicle for use during working hours
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years
- One (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
