Light duty cleaner Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, criminal record check, and reference required

Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Various locations, industrial facility or establishment, and recreational facility/institution

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be capable of working under pressure and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should exhibit attention to detail and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be able to balance sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be comfortable with walking as part of their duties and capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and provide basic information on facilities
• The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
