Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Communication systems experience: operate GPS (Global Positioning System), and other navigation equipment
Equipment and machinery experience: Fatbed
Credentials: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Various locations
Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports, dangerous goods occurrence reports, driver logbook, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, trans-border documentation, and trip reports
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail in their work and be capable of handling heavy loads as required
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and be comfortable with tasks that involve sitting for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing work demands

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate mountain driving expertise and professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, and drive lighter, special purpose trucks
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of the vehicle, perform preventive maintenance, and receive and relay information to central dispatch
- The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption, perform tarping, and ensure the safety and security of cargo
