  • Observes and reports activities and incidents at a client's assigned site ensuring the safety and security of client property and personnel.
  • Conducts periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protective devices and fire-fighting equipment.
  • Maintains order and may act to enforce site regulations and guidelines regarding staff, visitors and premises.
  • Controls access to the customer site or facility through the admission process.
  • Patrols an assigned site on foot or by vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems and controlling unauthorized persons.
  • Protects evidence or incident scenes in the event of an accident, emergency or security investigation.
  • Responds to fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, severe weather and other incidents.
  • Prepares logbooks and reports as required.

We are seeking candidates that either have a Top Secret Clearance or can obtain a Top Secret clearance.

It must be noted this process includes your ability to provide proof of documentation of 10 years of Canadian residency, employment, education and more.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen.
  • 10 years (required minimum) of verifiable recent history within Canada.
  • Personal Security interview by Government Security Officials.
  • Please note that process will be very invasive, and you will be asked to honestly disclose (securely) detailed personal information to Government Security Officials.

Qualifications:

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Draft employment contracts for various categories, salaries, hourly, interns/ co-ops; screen for legal enforceability and present offers to the candidates.
  • Develop and facilitate new-hire orientation and onboarding in coordination with business units.
  • Coordinate with Payroll regarding new hire paperwork and any personnel changes.
  • Create reports and share analytical feedback with the decision makers based on information collected through review system.

  • Notify unions of changes in employee promotions and post positions for internal staff in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
