Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Credentials: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and have the ability to distinguish between colors, showcasing excellent discrimination skills
• The candidates should be comfortable sitting for extended periods and be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking in various work situations
• The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks while exhibiting sound discrimination skills

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to research, design, and develop information and communication system network architecture, while also analyzing user’s requirements and designing and developing system architecture and specifications
• The candidates should be able to develop and conduct design verification simulations and prototype bench tests of components, demonstrating hands-on expertise in the development process
• The candidates should be able to lead and coordinate teams of engineers, technologists, technicians, and drafters in the design and development of computer and telecommunications hardware, ensuring effective collaboration and project advancement
• The candidates should be able to supervise, inspect, and provide design support during the manufacturing, installation, and implementation of computer and telecommunications hardware, overseeing the entire lifecycle of hardware development and deployment
