Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized and other testing equipment
• The candidates should be able to order parts, maintain inventory, and adjust equipment, repairing or replacing defective parts
• The candidates should be able to keep maintenance reports and documentation, ensuring accurate records
• The candidates should be able to test repaired equipment for proper performance, ensuring work meets manufacturers’ specifications
• The candidates should be able to clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in equipment repair
• The candidates should be able to perform repair work on heavy trucks, verifying and repairing emission control systems
