·       Creates and maintains client Post Orders.

Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents. Position Overview:

Shift timings: Part Time Weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties by performing handheld metal detection wand searches.
• Monitor activity in data centre and ensure proper screening is completed of client employees before allowing them into restricted areas.
• Escalate incidents to Responder Guard or Shift Supervisor.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 1.5 years of security guard experience
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Must be able to meet the eligibility requirements for a Reliability Clearance through the Government of Canada.
