PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Manufacturing Engineer is working with production to ensure manufacturing data is in place, issues are addressed appropriately, data analysis and ensure process improvement opportunities are raised and implemented.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Inspects, validates, records, and communicates if all design requirements have been met
- Performs investigational analysis to provide recommendations on solution design feasibility
- Performs process reviews and creates required Quality System documentation with details adequate to achieve required product quality
- Prepares and maintains documentation, including process work instructions, testing scenarios, solution design documentation, end user training materials
- Supports development of alternatives and recommendations for new solution implementations or changes to existing process design
- Participates in design reviews to ensure the correct interpretation of the requirements
- Performs Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) for key processes and document current knowledge and appropriate actions to eliminate or reduce failures
- Identifies the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement
