Electrical engineer Full-time Job

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years’
Area of work experience: Design, Operations or production, Project planning
Area of specialization: System integration, Electrical, Lighting, Power generation, transmission or distribution, Control system
Computer and technology knowledge: ANASYS, Power Line Systems, computer aided design and drafting (PLS-CADD), AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, MS Office
Credentials: Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
Security and safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance

Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by the employer
Work setting: Various locations

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be accurate, client focus, should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to conduct feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
• The candidates should be able to design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
• The candidates should be able to develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• The candidates should be able to investigate electrical or electronic failures
