A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As a part of the team, you’ll assist in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations.

As anIT Procurement Senior Associate,you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Overseeing a portfolio of cross-functional categories, with multiple concurrent projects

Managing the portfolio spend, developing cost reduction strategies, conducting rigorous market analyses, recommending short-term and long-term sourcing opportunities, providing risk/benefit analysis, leading/facilitating supplier evaluations, negotiations, and change management efforts, managing cost reduction programs and transactional activities in pursuit of total cost of ownership savings and enhanced service levels for the category portfolio

Managing supplier performance for the category portfolio as well as for meeting internal end user demands

Tracking and reporting the performance of the category portfolio, as well as managing any modifications to the portfolio

Leading or participating in supplier audit activities and various cross-functional projects or initiatives

Conducting periodic portfolio spend analyses and develop sourcing strategies to drive cost reductions, and improved service levels and quality
-
Managing cross-functional teams to execute the category-specific sourcing strategies, including the development of requirements, drafting of RFx documents, identification of supplier evaluation criteria, leading the negotiations process, and facilitating the contracting process

Resolving or assisting in resolution of conflicts within and between projects

Leading the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities and best practices

Developing and sustaining processes and procedures for efficient sourcing in procurement

Maintaining effective relationships with suppliers associated with assigned category portfolio
-
Monitoring transactional activities and deliver to KPIs, manage supplier performance to contract, facilitate issue resolution and response to end user queries

Developing and maintain necessary tools to track performance of category portfolio and associated suppliers
-
Performing savings tracking and report realized savings on a continuous basis
