VCT Group requires a Master Electrician to lead the solar installation team. This individual will use extensive knowledge of electrical installation methods to ensure project are designed and built in accordance with electrical codes and internal best practises. In this role you will oversee all electrical work of electricians, designers and apprentices. This position involves working out of our Kitchener location under the direction of the Operations Manager. • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.

• Inspection of electrical components including transformers, electronics, and other equipment

• Commissioning and configuration of electronics control and monitoring systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose failed electronics components using a variety of testing devices

• Supervise, educate, and train apprentices

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Master Electrician

• 2+ years licensed experience

• Demonstrated attention to detail, customer care, and quality of work

• Highly efficient use of computer applications including databases, Zoom, CRM platforms, project management software, and other MS Office applications

• Current G class driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
