We are currently looking for security agents to join our security team at a date center in Beauharnois!

Work Schedule

      • Monday to Friday, from 00h00 (midnight) to 8h00 

      •Permanent part-time position (24 hours per week)

• Possibility to work additional shifts on call

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. 
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment. 
• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. 
• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. 
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. 
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents. 
• Prepares logs and reports as required. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately.

Note: The employee might not be required to perform all functions listed. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity. 

Job Requirements

• Valid First Aid Certificate (CPR)
• Valid ASP card
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle 
• Bilingual - French and English 
• Computer skills
• Good physical condition for surveillance rounds

Work Schedule

• Variable schedule (Day, Evening, and Night)
• Temporary position, full-time or part-time.

Job Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License (BSP)
• Valid First Aid Certificate (CPR)
• Valid driver's license and possession of a personal vehicle (Mandatory)
  • Please note that a $3.00 per hour bonus is added to the hourly wage for the use of your personal vehicle (P7).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Availability for day, evening, and/or night shifts.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science, or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience

• Six (6) months experience required in instructor-led training, field operations or related area. Experience working in a Safety focused leadership role preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• ASSP, NSC, OSHA Training Institute, or Accredited College Certification preferred.
• Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team.
• Ability to build effective relationships built on trust, respect and collaboration.
• Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
• Ability to develop effective methods for data analysis and interpret results.Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.
• Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
• Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures related to FedEx Operations preferred

Job Conditions

Preferred Qualifications:Must be bilingual. Must be available Sunday – 2:00PM to 10:30PM Monday to Thursday – 10:30AM to 7:00PM Must be available for weekends and during peak periods .
