Job Summary

This position inputs and processes shipments, in accordance with UPS and local government policies. 

Job Title:Scanner

Job Type:Part-Time / Permanent

Workdays:Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)

Shift Hours:5:00 AM to 10:00 AM (must be able to work a minimum of 25 hrs. per week)

Shift Duration:3-5 hours a day(requires flexibility with Start and Finish time)

Work Location:5325 RHODES DRIVEWINDSOR, ON N8N 2M1

Hourly Wage:$17.30

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Scan packages as they move down a conveyor line.  

  • Follow directions from scanner on sorting of package.  

  • Affix paperwork to designated packages.   

 

Requirements

  • Ability to lift-up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs. 

  • Previous general warehouse or scanning experience.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with 90% accuracy.
