The Role 

As a PepsiCo Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in providing the safest, most reliable equipment to our people; enabling them to service our customers and providing our consumers the products they look for and enjoy each and every day. Leveraging our world class PM program, ongoing training and technology investments, and leading predictive diagnostic software, you will be empowered to make decisions and Act as an Owner. Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $38.82/hr
• Eligible for Benefits & Pension programs 
• Afternoon Shift Premium: $1.10/hr
• Travel Premium: $1.00/hr on the road
• Meal Allowance: $75/day
• Boot Allowance: $275.00/yr
• Tool Allowance: $345/yr

Responsibilities

In this role you will help us get our famous brands to the people who love them across Canada. Here’s what you’ll be doing: 

• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned 
• Diagnosing vehicle failures and perform mechanical repairs and replacements as required 
• Responding to local road calls and/or coordinate service support as necessary 
• Maintaining work area appearance and safety 
• Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner 
• Leveraging predictive diagnostic software to aid in eliminating vehicle breakdowns 
• Using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments; as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks and hoists 
• Maintaining accurate records of daily activities through asset management system 
• Completing all necessary documents, including eHOS and electronic vehicle inspection records 
• Other duties and tasks assigned by Fleet Supervisor/Manager 

Qualifications

• Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certificat
• High school diploma or equivalent is required 
• Working knowledge in use of hand tools is required 
• Commercial Vehicle Inspection certificate (MB) is preferred 
• Valid Class 1 / AZ Operators License is preferred but not required
• Dedication to safety 
• Strong computer and mathematical skillset 
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

As a Route Sales Representative, there are two main accountabilities: (1) selling and developing the business and (2) servicing customers through delivery and merchandising. You will be responsible for developing and sustaining a growing snack foods business to an assigned group of retail customers, for example, grocery, gas and convenience stores.

Responsibilities

• Identifying changing customer needs through a constant review of the highest selling products
• Frequent communication with store managers
• Developing all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation and customer service objectives
• Selling and executing national and local promotions, soliciting placement of incremental marketing equipment, displays, racks and selling product inventory for customer volume demands
• Managing inventory to ensure balanced accounts and fresh products for customers
• Executing hands on activities: managing product placement on shelves, increasing shelf facings and racks, handling carton returns, inventory movement and cleaning shelving and racks

Qualifications

• High School diploma required, University/College education is an asset
• Valid full G driver’s license or class 5 driver’s license
• A car or reliable, consistent access to a car and a clear/clean driving record
• Scheduling flexibility: work schedule can vary (weekends/holidays included)
• Previous sales experience with a consumer-packaged goods or retail organization preferred
• Outstanding organizational skills (able to handle multiple priorities, problem solve, meet targets

PepsiCo Foods Canada is seeking a Communications Associate to help promote and protect the reputation of the portfolio of its iconic food brands. This role will contribute to the business by developing high-impact strategic communications plans, project management and execution, earned media/influencer strategy and engagement, and agency and budget management.

• Serve as communications advisor to PepsiCo Foods Canada’s marketing team on external communications initiatives 
• Support brand PR plans that leverage creative ideas, media and influencers to support new campaigns, innovation launches, and other brand priorities 
• Support crisis and issues communications, as needed 
• Provide thoughtful and timely review of external social media, influencer content, partnerships and sponsorships for potential reputational issues  
• Regularly liaise and collaborate with Frito-Lay US, Quaker US, and PepsiCo brand and corporate communications team members as well as cross-functional stakeholders 
• Oversee and manage the work of agency teams, ensuring flawless execution, rigorous measurement and resources 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University, preferably with focus on Communications/Journalism/PR 
• 5-7 years of PR experience managing brand communications in a fast-moving consumer goods category preferred (agency or large corporate entity) 
• Strong media relations skills including strategic planning and the ability to story-mine and pitch top-tier reporters 
• Strong expertise in navigating influencer/talent/partnership programming and protocols 
• Unique experiences that demonstrate creative instinct, passion for marketing and deep consumer empathy 
• Proven track record of driving successful, insight-based, high-impact creative communications programs that deliver against brand business objectives, on time and within budget
