The IT Asset Coordinator role is responsible for preparing, managing and controlling all IT assets (PCs, Printers, mobile devices, warehouse devices, etc.) throughout their life cycle, from acquisition through to final disposition in region. This role has accountability for ensuring inventory is managed and tracked in Service Now and physically secure before being shipped out to end user or branch location.

Job Description:
PC & Printer Deployments
- Responsible for client assets including, but not limited to, laptops, printers, desktops, etc.
- Assist in the tracking and management of all IT asset throughout its operating life.
- Collaboration with internal departments to meet their PC & printing needs
- Investigate and recovery of dark devices
- Report off-line printer page counts for billing purposes & toner deliveries
- Continuous Process Improvement
Accessory Management Requests & Incidents
- Inventory validation – corrections and updates
- Investigate unused & missing devices
- Arrange lease return or recycle PC, printer, and mobile hardware
- Investigate & resolve non-reporting device/printer (NRD’s) issues
- Investigate & resolve failure in consumable deliveries
Service Now ITAM
- Incidents & Requests Queue Management
- Maintain inventory in Service Now of deployed hardware
- Process PC, Printer and accessory requests in Service Now
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ITIL best-practice operational processes
- Knowledge Base (KB) and Service Request (SR) creation and updates
Specific Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Clear concise written, verbal, communication skills that are professional, timely and accurate
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Advanced in all aspects of the MS Office applications with an emphasis in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Proven ability to work in a demanding work environment and unsupervised
Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications with an emphasis in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Strong knowledge on Service Now Incidents, Requests and Asset Management
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years office experience
- Knowledge of Service Now
- ITIL Certification
