Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account, acting as a PepsiCo ambassador.

This position monitors fleet vehicle equipment maintenance. Responsibilities:

• Schedules preventative maintenance inspections and reviews the results, monitors repairs, and performs vehicle audits to ensure mechanics adhere to safety, regulatory and appearance standards.
• Analyzes equipment or vehicle system failures to determine root causes and resolve problems, and plans and coordinates equipment repairs with internal and external groups.
• Ensures adequate inventory levels (e.g., parts, tires, etc.) to support business processes.
• Adheres to purchasing limits, expense approval procedures, and equipment disposal guidelines to remain within cost plan.
• Reviews and approves automotive expenses.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Red Seal 310T or 310S license.

• Ability to manage equipment repair and oversee the correction of problems with tools, machinery, and other standard technical equipment
• Ability to manage inspections, physical assets, and working relationships with vendors

The scope of this position is to be responsible for dispatching units to pickup and delivery freight, monitoring the performance of drivers and ensuring customer timelines are adhered to.

The Package Delivery Driver position is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s G or higher license issued in the state of Ontario. The P&D Planner will be responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring incoming and outgoing freight to ensure the most timely and efficient utilization of dock space, equipment and movement of freight. 

How You’ll Help

• Creating routes/load plans that take all business requirements into consideration [customer experience, operational efficiencies & increased cost savings for the company and our driver/broker community.
• Review route/load plan within system and initiate adjustments to the plan as required, inclusive of appointment freight.
• Trigger optimization, if necessary to ensure P&D plan is aligned.
• Ensure all trailer and route planning in accordance with transportation laws and company policies regarding weight and weight distribution, cbing, transportation of dangerous goods are being followed

Your Skills and Experience

• Minimum of two-three years’ experience in dock and/or P&D dispatch operations, preferably in the transportation industry

• Advanced computer skills as well as experience with MS Office products and web based programs.  Previous experience with Truckmate and Bringg is an asset

• UPS is looking for individuals who enjoy working in a physical fast-paced outdoor environment that involves delivering packages in residential areas.
  Applicants must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid G or higher license issued in the province of Ontario.
