The Team 
The Group Treasury Technology team provides development and support services for Group Treasury (including Structural Interest Rate Risk management, Asset/Liability Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, Match Maturity, Budgeting and Planning) and Global Risk Management (Global Retail Credit Risk, Trade Floor Risk Management).

The Role 
The Software Automation Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions to support the Group Treasury business with a focus on automating existing manual processes, reducing the likelihood for human errors and improving operational processes. You will be required to participate in multiple projects, including technical design, use cases, and process workflow of complex business processes for internal clients. You must possess the ability to work with a team of technology focused peers and the ability to juggle multiple/concurrent tasks. Provide technology collaboration and be the ambassador for Automation across Group Treasury Technology.

Analyze data in operational database environments including SQL Server
Optimizing and simplifying existing code and perform code reviews

What You Will Bring to Succeed 

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 
• 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• 2-3 years of industry experience.
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience with major programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, SQL and scripting.

The Industrial Engineering team at Maple Leaf Foods supports all of Maple Leaf’s manufacturing facilities across North America.  The Industrial Engineering team works alongside factory leadership and the corporate head office, located in Mississauga Ontario, to lead disciplined decision making, direction setting, and identification of opportunities to maximize efficiencies across the manufacturing network.

The Buildings and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding UPS assets, including buildings, equipment, and grounds, while ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance & Compliance:

• Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and labor compliance across automated hub

Our Engineering Design Organization is looking for a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist. In this role, you’ll be part of the Civil team working on municipal infrastructure projects such as road reconstruction, trenchless rehabilitation of pipelines, stormwater, wastewater collection and water transmission distribution projects.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and drawing detailed design drawings
• Execute design calculations for sanitary sewers, storm sewers and watermain
• Assist with preparation of technical memorandum's, letters and reports
• Developing design/construction documents and specifications
• Attend and participate in client/team progress meetings including preparation of meeting records

Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Office;

• Microstation experience would be considered an asset;

SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER

THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for a GPU System-on-a-Chip Verification Engineer who will be part of a team working on next generation of a complex GPU SOCs which include integration of GPU core, Multi-Media, Infinity Fabric, PCIE, etc. The successful candidate will play a key role in SOC verification performing the following duties for functional, power, and performance aspects with simulation and hardware emulation environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A truly multidisciplinary function, working in close collaboration with the front-end designers and physical designers on the various SOC verification efforts
• Interacting with a wide variety of internal and external design verification development teams, DV methodology, and Silicon IP and tool vendors.
• Work with architects, and the design and DV team to develop test plans and execute system verification plans from GPU memory coherency, hardware virtualization, address translation, etc.
   

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge of programming
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages preferred
• Strong knowledge of digital logic and circuits
   

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor/Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

The responsible candidate will work with more senior engineers to study, develop, and supervise programs to achieve the best use of equipment, human resources, technology, materials, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. Provide support in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of manufacturing operations such as machining, metal forming, welding/brazing, assembly, and material handling.

Responsibility

• Work with production planning to set shop priorities and ensure all required tools and documentation required in the plant for production run jobs are available.
• Investigate and monitor new machinery and equipment and recommend or select efficient combinations.
• Conduct time studies to optimize cycle counts of existing processes.
• Assist in defining the plant lay-out and enhance ergonomic requirements by establishing programs, conducting studies.
• Planning and executing of projects related to new and pre-existing equipment related to machining or assembly.
• Attend Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Recognize and resolve tooling related difficulties with existing and new projects while working with the manufacturing support staff.
• Interface with suppliers of raw materials and tools to establish engineering requirements for start of production.
• Investigate and find resolution of specific processing problems for assigned projects/parts.
• Conduct studies of the reliability and performance of plant facilities and productions or administrative systems.
• Develop and review all processes and operator instructions to endure accuracy and conformance to actual procedures; revise as needed.
• Participate in corrective action to meet ongoing cost, quality, and delivery.
• Lead development of process flows, process sheets, FMEA’s and control plans. Ensure the process is capable of producing parts in print specifications.
• Recognize and resolve process related difficulties with current and future projects.
• Assist in the preparations of quotations and Participate in Customer Focus meetings.
• Assist in training shop floor personnel in machine set-up, equipment operations, and best practices.

Academic/Educational Requirements

• A university degree or diploma engineering or equivalent
• Licensing by a provincial or territorial association of Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) would be an asset

The Quality Engineer position, under general supervision, is responsible for performing routine to moderately complex inspections and set quality standards for both in-process and finished products and materials.  Primarily accountable for developing methods for testing, sampling, and training and evaluating production and recommend improvements.
