An IMPACT Associate can support tradespersons, supervisors, managers, equipment operators or administrative teams in various areas. Areas of interest can include water & sewer utilities, roads and concrete construction, residential waste collection and street cleaning, working alongside project coordinators and technicians in traffic signals or SCADA.
An IMPACT Associate will attend safety meetings, site inspections, contractor meetings, pre-construction, and any other related meetings. They will also participate in the development or completion of related documentation.
POSITION FUNCTION
As an IMPACT Initiative Associate hired under the City of Victoria’s Inclusive Municipal Program for Advancing Careers and Training, you will be given meaningful and challenging assignments while being introduced to a career in municipal government. - Lead and support new ScotiaMcLeod initiatives and support change management processes within the region
- Create and lead new campaigns within the region
- Acts as point of contact for branch management teams with questions on new policies and initiatives
- Work with head office partners on addressing questions or concerns from the field
- Support branch management teams in ensuring a high level of success is achieved through effective operations and administrative efficiencies
- Act as a liaison between branches and head office, and support departments to ensure efficient resolution to all issues
- Act as delegate of Regional Director on regional compliance and policy approvals

- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
