PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Working as a part of the Customer Experience Centre of Excellence (CX COE) the Salesforce Administrator supports the Salesforce.com platform and applications throughout their lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to manage tactical execution in a role connecting business operations, technology solutions and the end-user experience. To be successful, the Salesforce Administrator should possess skills in Salesforce configuration, technical troubleshooting, business analysis, data analysis and time management. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for optimized business process across business and IT, consistently striving to achieve the best end-user and customer experiences.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Work with Sr. Product Manager and business resources to directly support and configure Salesforce.com platform.
• Manage production support and act as the subject matter expert for assigned applications and products; champion change requests to improve usability and system performance.
• Consult with CPKC business teams, IS and vendors to gather requirements on new features related to the product roadmap.
• Prioritize small enhancements, working with application specific resources to deliver solutions while maintaining a cadence of regular updates to business stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day vendor relationship support including tracking timely completion of production tickets and adherence to service agreements.
• Timeline management, overall risk and issue management as needed for smaller projects and scheduled system releases.
• Collaborate with IT project managers and business analysts on cross-functional projects, researching vendor or application impact to the business.
• Execute on plans to maintain system health and security; work in partnership with delivery teams to obtain necessary details to insure resource availability and task completion.
• Research Salesforce product, market, business and competitive trends to identify opportunities for product or system growth.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors of Science in Business, IT or other related field of study, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator (Salesforce Administrator Certification required)
• 2 years of experience in a customer facing role
• 2 years of experience in working with third party vendors
• Knowledge of Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud or other CMS and marketing automation applications is a plus
• Experience in SQL/SOQL, reporting, data analysis or business analysis is a plus

Management Conductor Program:

Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To maintain the track and surrounding areas using moderate physical labour and technology (automated machinery). We use technology as much as possible to eliminate physical stress on the body. Duties can include replacing and repairing various track components including rails, railway ties, fences and adjusting the alignment and the surface of the track as well as responding to emergencies and track outages.

This is a travelling position where your typical schedule with be 8 on/6 off. While travelling, you will receive a rate premium, mileage, hotel accommodations, meal expenses, etc.  You will receive 2 weeks paid training to set you up for success as a Railroader.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Moderate to heavy physical labour on an assigned area of track. This work involves:

• Pulling track spikes
• Applying rail anchor
• Shoveling crushed rock
• Bending & lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Repetitive tasks

• An emphasis on safety is critical for all employees. This can be a high-risk environment as you will be working around heavy moving equipment
• Employees must remain focused at all times and be willing to work in a team environment
• The work location is outdoors and, therefore, you will be working in all weather conditions (rain, direct sunlight, snow etc)
• The typical schedule is 8 ON/ 6 OFF, but can be subject to change based on operational needs
• Will be required to be away from home (accommodations and meal allowance provided)
• Work can be seasonal and employees may be laid off at the end of the work season

Our Operations - Rapid Transit Office is looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial Management, Maintenance Delivery to join the Commercial Management team. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Management, you will provide commercial governance, develop internal processes, partner with internal and external stakeholders on the negotiation of contracts, development of claims and formulate strategies to achieve optimal return on investment for contracts.

Our Customer Care Office is seeking applications for part-time seasonal Customer Care Representatives who will be responsible for providing first-contact resolution for customers of Metrolinx’ s public transit systems and services who contact the Customer Care Office with questions and concerns.

What will I be doing?

• Responds verbally and in writing to customer inquiries through various communication channels including social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook. 
• Provides information and refers customers, when necessary, to appropriate outside offices, such as other public transit companies.
• Exercises effective listening skills and empathy to determine the nature of each call, anticipates customer needs, and provides resolution at first point of contact to meet customer’s travel requirements including trip planning, schedule, fare, station and policy information.
• Establishes and maintains rapport with customers by using probing techniques to guide call and identify issues/concerns.
• De-escalates any potentially volatile situations while providing customer service excellence. 
• Compiles information for group-travel and special needs requests, and coordinates with peer representatives in Station Operations, Bus Operations, and Rail Operations to ensure the delivery of the best possible customer service experience.
• Provides corporate switchboard service ensuring transfer of incoming calls to the appropriate office/extension.
• Uses all available systems and resources quickly and accurately to respond to, and action, customer inquiries in an efficient manner. 
• Maintains current knowledge of new policies, procedures, and services. 
• Understands and delivers on KPIs and performance expectations as outlined by Team Leader.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a Team Leader in Customer Care or designate.

What skills & qualifications do I need?

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalency.
• Fluency in French that meets Ontario Public Service (OPS) standards is an asset. 
• Minimum 6 months of experience delivering customer service in a Contact Centre environment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to customer inquiries in a quick and efficient manner.
• Ability to use a computer with relevant software and customer service programs.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
