Job Details:

• Local Sorters are responsible for the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages in the center.
• Job Classifications: Part-time Warehouse
• Job Type: Permanent/Hourly
• Workdays: Monday - Friday ** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UP TO 25 HOURS A WEEK**
• Scheduled Shift: 5:00PM (3–5-hour shifts – hours vary based on daily needs)

  • *Local Sorters will be required to work five days a week with slight changes in shift hours. Shift hours may vary due to the changes in package volume.

    Required Skills:

  • Loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow set procedures.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted.
  • Able to work with automated conveyor belts and manual rollers.
  • Comfortable working inside container trailers, delivery trucks or similar equipment
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding and temperature changing warehouse environment.

Job Description:

• Moving equipment in and out of the shop

Qualifications:

Role Summary

• Prepare customer orders by placing crates and kegs of beer on pallets and packing them.
• Load - Unload delivery trucks using a forklift or pallet truck.
• Be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the transhipment areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform physical activities and manual labour as required, including but not limited to standing for long periods, walking, lifting, pushing, twisting, pulling and bending.
• Lifting objects up to 80 lbs;
• Climbing ladders/staircases;
• Working on a slippery floor;
• Lifting an object higher than your shoulders;
• Using motorised equipment;
• Exposure to vibration;
• Ability to wear all required PPE: including safety shoes, glasses, cap, hearing protection (jewellery must be removed);
• Ability to work in a team (day, afternoon and middle of the night)

Qualifications:

• Good physical fitness - Heavy loads to handle (Over 700 cases per shift).
• Available to work night or evening shifts.
• 16 years of age and over
• Warehouse experience an asset.
